Another nail idea coming at you!
After my last one of 2 colors and me not being patient enough for one color to dry before doing the next one, I’ve gone back to my favorite method – the half painted nail.
I first tried this out with this one way back in the fall of last year, and it was probably the quickest, easiest, and my favorite looking one. So I have no idea why it’s taken me this long to try it another way. But here we are!
What you need:
- nail polish (I used OPI’s ‘You’re Such a Budapest’)
- masking or painters tape
- nail polish remover and q-tip
Cut squares of tape and then cut those in half diagonally to form a triangle
Stick to the base of your nail about 1/3 of the way up. Press down all the edges so that paint won’t get underneath
Use your fav polish to paint a few coats over the uncovered part of your nail and let dry
Carefully peel off the tape and use the q-tip and nail polish remover to clean up any messy parts the seeped under the tape
Voilà! Cute and easy mani that looks way fancier then it actually is ;)
