I didn’t know what to call this because it’s somewhere between a frozen hot chocolate and a chocolate milkshake, but whatever you want to call it it’s super good!
Most frozen hot chocolate recipes consist of instant hot chocolate mix, ice cubes and milk, but my blender isn’t a huge fan of crushing ice small enough for drinks so I usually avoid those kind of recipes. Enter my solution… use fudgesicles instead!
I used my 2 ingredient homemade fudgesicles and it worked like a charm.
So here’s what you do!
Frozen Chocolate Chill makes 2 small glasses or 1 regular size if you don’t want to share. And really why would you? ;)
- 6-8 fudgesicles depending on the size of your moulds (recipe here)
- 1/2 cup milk (almond milk is delicious)
- optional: peanut butter, Nutella, caramel sauce… pretty much anything that goes with chocolate
Blend all together until slushy and drink away!
To make different variations just add a tablespoon of peanut butter or whatever other thing you like. For the caramel one I drizzled caramel sauce on top and sprinkled it with Skor bits. YUM
