A few months ago I had the pleasure of photographing the new spring/summer line for Ottawa-based tangente, and I got a sneak peek at all of Cathy’s new designs!
Now that they’re available in stores, and on her Etsy shop, I thought it would be a great time to show off some of her lovely pieces and get you even more excited for summer!
All her pieces are made with sustainable fabrics such as bamboo, ramie, organic cotton and Tencel, which means they feel soooo good. It’s basically like wearing pajamas except that you look amazing and no one else knows your secret ;)
I’m a HUGE fan of stripes so I was so happy to see that that was a main feature this season. So many stripes! Both the coral and black striped dresses in the photos are also available in maxi style, as well as a mint striped version as well. Yay!
The mint cardigan up there can be worn 2 different ways that gives the whole thing a completely different look (check it out here!). It’s made of french terry bamboo, and if you don’t know what that is just know that it’s incredibly soft.
I love the floral print that she added to the dress below to give it a little something different. It makes me want the throw on some sandals, find some sunnies, and head out to a patio somewhere to sip something cold in the sunshine. Who’s with me! #supportlocal
