I don’t know if you noticed, but it’s officially 3 weeks until Christmas. Ah! So today I thought I’d dive right in and show you my DIY Christmas that’s going on at our house this year. If you like simplicity, black and white, and low cost then this post is for you!
Since we’re not going to be home for actual Christmas this year we decided not to get a tree, but I didn’t want that to stop me from putting ornaments up! We have this weird metal half wall thing separating our living room and dining room so I thought that would be a good place to string some.
Last year I went a little crazy making paper snowflakes, but I couldn’t help it. They’re just so fun to make! Last year I hung them all in our front window, so this time around I stuck them to the window and a wall in snowy swirls. If you want an easy, basically free, but super pretty DIY this is the one for you. Break out your inner kid again and getting crafting!
I already posted these wooden center piece trees, but had to include them again because they’re new to me and I love them.
I also made some stars the same way as the trees and hung them up with the banner. The banner! I made it last year and am still loving it.
I had a bunch of my favorite ornaments leftover that still needed a home for the holidays so I strung them up as another wall garland. Aren’t they the cutest?!
And of course, no Christmas is complete with some twinkle lights strung up to give your home that cozy glow at night :)
This wreath is a new addition this year and the DIY is coming soon! Check back soon for that one :)
And there you have it… my DIY Christmas home tour! What are some of your favorite Christmas decorations and DIY’s?
