Welcome to Smoothie Saturdays!
Now that summer is hear so is the return of delicious smoothies in my life. And what better way then to try a new one every week for June! Last summer I shared my basic smoothie recipe, but I’ve seen sooo many different recipes and ideas on Pinterest lately so I thought I should branch out of my usual flavours and try some new ones.
So today I bring you this dessert-like treat: blueberry lemon smoothie! YUM.
– 1 cup frozen blueberries (if you use fresh berries you’ll need to throw in some ice cubes to make it cold)
– 1/2 cup lemon yogurt (I used Yoplait Source Lemon Meringue Parfait. if you use greek yogurt you’ll need to add more liquid as it’s a lot thicker)
– 3/4 cup milk
If you like it sweeter then you can add a splash of sugar too.
Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Makes 1 glass the size shown in the photos.
