Happy weekend-time! I’ve decided to start a monthly theme for Sunday posts… nothing crazy, just happy little posts :) And here’s the first one!
I’ve always loved sending mail. When I was a little kid, around 8 years old, I started writing to a pen-pal and believe it or not we still write to each other after all this time! There’s just something magical and exciting about finding an unexpected letter in your mailbox that’s not junk mail or someone wanting money. And it makes me happy to send off little cards and letters to my family and friends who are scattered around the country.
So when I saw that A Beautiful Mess had come out with their very own awesome stationary line last year I loved that they too were embracing the lost art of sending mail too! They’ve appropriately named it Happy Mail, and it’s a by-subscription club of sorts where they send you an envelope every month that’s bursting with colourful, clever cards and stationary. Wonderful.
Even though it’s a great price for what you get it just wasn’t in the budget for me this year. Sad. But then something crazy happened…. it showed up magically and unexpectedly in my mailbox! WHAT. There is only one person who could’ve been responsible for this:
She did. Mom: filling my life with joy since 1987 :)
I eagerly opened the envelope and it definitely lived up to my expectations. Here’s what it was filled with:
Check back on the weekends to come to see what else I’ll be sending off!
