Christmas Banner DIY - The Lovely Things © Zambonin Photography

I’m not ashamed to jump on bandwagons every once in a while, and when I started seeing this “merry and bright” alternative to “Merry Christmas” all over Pinterest this season I joined right in!

To make the letters I went to the computer, chose a font I liked (you can use any text program like Word), and printed out the words in the actual size I wanted the final ones to be. If you want bigger letters you might only be able to fit a few on a page, but remember you only need to print each letter once! You can also click here to download the merry + bright template that I made.

Once you’ve printed them, cut them out and trace them onto the back of your scrapbook paper. Make sure you flip the printed letter backwards so that it will be the right way when you cut it out of the scrapbook paper!

Once you have all your letters cut out tape the back of the letters to the string and hang it up!
