Earlier I talked about some of my favourite beauty products that I use, but afterwards I realized there are a few more things that I use all the time and should probably share. So here they are!
Cricket Amped Up Tease Brush
I mentioned my favourite hair stylist in my other post, so it shouldn’t be surprising that she also introduced me to this handy little tool. I never understood, or was able, to do that whole backcombing/volume thing properly. Not that I wanted huge hair, but I little extra help wouldn’t be bad. So when I used this brush for the first time I was entirely shocked and pleased. It takes a minute to do and actually keeps your hair at the volume you want! I should really do a before and after photo one of these days.

Sephora Brush Wand
I spotted this clever invention when I was in a crazy long Christmas shopping line at Sephora last year. Their own description says everything I would try and explain so here it is: “Use this smart little wand to create a range of eye looks without having to carry an entire set of brushes. The Sephora Collection Brush Wand comes with four magnetically connected brushes, allowing you to change out the brush tip to achieve the exactly the look you want. The perfect all-in-one brush, its compact size makes it perfect to toss into your purse, travel kit, or gym bag.”

L’Oreal Magic Perfecting Base
A friend introduced me to this stuff a couple of years ago and I’m still a big fan. Smooth it on your skin before putting on your foundation and it will create a smooth, soft base that doesn’t feel heavy or greasy at all. It makes your skin feel great and keeps your makeup in place. I don’t use it everyday, but on the occasions where I’m wearing a little extra makeup it’s perfect. The little jar lasts a really long time too!

Neutrogena Rapid Clear Spot Gel
This has been the only blemish spot product that I’ve found that actually works magically for me. Dab a tiny amount on the blemish before you go to bed and it’ll be gone, or extremely reduced, by morning! Ok, so it doesn’t work like that 100% of the time, but it does work more often then not so thats good enough for me.
